This was one
of the coolest shoots I've ever been a part of!
Morgan was interested in both a studio and outdoor session, and luckily since I live by two of my favorite parks I offer both locations as an option when reserving a signature session. For the studio portion we kept it simple, light, and airy. These fine art sessions are perfect for capturing the beauty of a mothers journey. As Morgan changed into her second look her (soon to be fiancee) Gerry mentioned he wanted to propose during the outdoor segment of the session. I was SO EXCITED and so much so I let out a little screech haha.
We continued on as if this life changing moment wasn't about to happen and quickly wrapped up the studio portion because the rain was fast approaching. I stayed as cool as a cucumber but did rush them out of of the studio in hopes we'd beat the rain. Since the park we chose was only 5 minutes away we were able to arrive just in time!
We arrive to the little path and I set up Morgan and Gerry for a standard look at the camera shot. After a few clicks I asked Gerry to step aside so I could photograph Morgan alone. This was his cue to take out the ring and sneak up behind her to pop the question. I asked Morgan to close her eyes and look u and after I asked her to open them back up there was Gerry, down on one knee ready to propose. She let out a much louder screech then mine and yelled YES! It was perfect. Such a sweet intimate moment and all caught on camera. One of the coolest moments I've had the honor of photographing.
Morgan is styled by ACP and wearing pieces from our client wardrobe.
