Three Month Lifestyle Session & My Top 5 Reasons this Milestone Matters

James' session was originally scheduled to be a newborn session, and due to COVID we had to reschedule for a later date. In my opinion this isn't a bad thing! Most of the time the 3-4 month milestone is overlooked, and it's the perfect time to have your babe photographed.

These are my five four reasons why I suggest the 3-4 month age milestone session:

  1. Your baby is now making eye contact. This provides us with beautiful portraits showcasing your baby's eyes which in most newborn sessions isn't easily achievable.

  2. They still have their baby features. Though they technically no longer newborns they still resemble their younger self enough to be considered a newborn/infant.

  3. They are reaching or have perfected their first major milestone. Tummy time! By the 3-4 month mark most babies are mastering the skill which is a reason to celebrate. This gives your gallery variety and showcases your baby's new skill!

  4. Say Cheese! Your baby is starting to show their gummy grin and it's one of the cutest things on the planet! One thats sure to melt your heart.

  5. Family portraits. These sessions are the perfect starting point for family portraits. Since baby is more awake and making eye contact you're more likely to have beautiful family portraits during this session.
